The UltraTrek Bear Creek Mountain event, scheduled for April 6, 2025, in Macungie, Pennsylvania, offers participants a challenging and scenic adventure through the trails of Bear Creek Mountain. With race options of 7, 14, 21, and 28 miles, runners and walkers will navigate varied terrain and elevations up to 1,000 feet, testing their physical and mental endurance. The course features snack and beverage stations, as well as restrooms every 2.5 miles.
The event begins at 7:00 AM EDT, with participants given up to 10 hours to complete their chosen distance. Bib pickup is available on April 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bear Creek Lodge, with the option for mailing. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt, patch, and premium canvas tote bag, and those aged 21 and over can enjoy a complimentary beer at the lodge. The lively atmosphere includes on-site activities such as axe throwing, cornhole, wellness vendors, and a variety of food trucks.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the Conservation Lands Foundation and Natural Lands, supporting environmental conservation efforts. For more details and registration, visit the official website: .

We also come to gether to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who serve our country. We offer a variety of family filled events for all ages for both veteran and civilians. There will be exciting activities, delicious food, live music, and much more. The Gathering of Snipers is an annual event co-hosted by the USMC Scout Sniper Association and the Army Sniper Association. The Gathering provides a professional forum designed to further the art and science of military sniping. The multi-day event includes a professional symposium for military snipers, a precision rifle match and plenty of opportunity for camaraderie.
Our purpose is to increase interoperability, lethality and enhance the trust and camaraderie among snipers from the various Services. We also aim to engage industry and everyday Americans in supporting the military snipers who proudly serve on their behalf.
The first Gathering was held in Denver, Colorado in August 2019. While 2020 brought a brief interruption due to COVID-19, we went to Texas and partnered with Guardian Long Range for our two-day precision rifle competition and shooting clinics in 2021. We partnered with Guardian again in 2022 and added the professional symposium to the agenda, this time at Arena in Blakely, Georgia. Now in our fifth year, we're partnering with Pigg River Precision and holding the event at their facility in Rocky Mount, Virginia on 15-17 September 2023.
The Gathering of Snipers 2024 will be held in Texas in September, and it will be bigger and better than ever! Specific dates and more information will be coming soon!

The USMC Scout Sniper Association (SSA) is the only non-profit membership organization for Marine Scout Snipers in the world. We exist to support the Scout Sniper community through programs that inspire brotherhood, encourage professionalism, and foster resiliency. Our community is comprised of those who have carried the long gun, those who have enabled our successes on the battlefield, and our families.
The Army Sniper Association (ASA) is comprised of snipers both past and present. Our organization exists to serve and support Army snipers, their families and the United States Army Sniper Course. The ASA annually supports the U.S. Army International Sniper Competition hosted by the U.S. Army Sniper School at Fort Benning, Georgia.
