The SSA Annual Hunt is a gathering of Marine Scout Snipers — past and present — coming together for a weekend rooted in shared experience. Held on private land and hosted by fellow HOGs, the event includes range time, hunting, meals, and nights around the fire. It’s not about ceremony or speeches. It’s about reconnecting with the men who’ve walked the same line, carried the same weight, and earned the same respect.
This is a members-only event, open by application. Only three will be selected to attend. Those chosen will have the opportunity to harvest a bear and take part in something few will ever experience — a hunt built on trust, legacy, and brotherhood.

Held at Yorktown Naval Weapons Station, the event includes live-fire with legacy and current weapons systems, followed by a social gathering to reinforce the bonds that never break. Whether you carried a bolt gun in Hue or Helmand, this is your community. Your rifle. Your round. Your shot. Join us and stand with those who still hold the standard.
