The USMC Scout Sniper Association is pleased to announce the winner of our 2017 Rifle Raffle. The winning ticket (#9230) drawn on 17 March 2017 belongs to Iwo Iwaskiewicz, a Marine Corps veteran. We congratulate Iwo on his win of this fine rifle, and appreciate the sentiments he shared with us:

I thank the USMC Scout Sniper Association for all that they do to help the Scout Sniper community and all Marines. As a Marine veteran, it’s an enormous honor to win a rifle that represents the courage, commitment, and sacrifices that our Scout Snipers have made throughout the Marine Corps’ prestigious history. As always I’ll do my best to uphold this honor as well as pay it forward. Semper Fidelis.

Authentic Marine Issued M40A1 Sniper Rifle

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text letter_spacing=””]This authentic M40A1 is a 100% correct replica using an original USMC contract and issued McMillian Stock, floor metal and scope mount. The Unertl scope is an original USMC issued 10X scope serial #1172. The Remington 700 receiver, serial #238957 is period correct for the run of receivers the Marine Corps used for these rifle builds. It has the correct USMC spec clip slotting and is finished in black oxide at the United States Marines Precision Weapons Section (PWS) Shop in Quantico. The work on this rifle was performed by PWS Armorers with the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 2112–Precision Weapons Repairer/Technician. It was barreled by George Gardner, owner of GA Precision with a USMC contract Schneider 1-12 twist barrel. The rifle has been in a private collection for over 15 years and has not been shot other than the test firing that was performed upon completion of the build. Supporting documentation of the build will be provided.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text letter_spacing=””]
